Overview: This foundation-level course covers the essentials of AutoCAD® Civil 3D® 2009. This three-day training course is intended to give students comprehensive experience with the features and benefits of AutoCAD Civil 3D. Hands-on exercises throughout the course explore how to create 2D and 3D drawings.
Course Objectives: The primary objective of the course is to familiarize participants with the concepts and application of the essential functions of Autodesk Civil 3D.
Upon completion of the course, you will be able to:
- Create points, change point styles, and manage points in groups
- Create, edit, and analyze surfaces, view surfaces in 3D
- Create parcels and parcel tables
- Create a site, create and edit alignments, and create profiles and
cross-sections - Create assemblies, corridors, and cross-sections, and calculate
corridor volumes - Create a grading solution from multiple objects
- Import Autodesk Land Desktop data and export Autodesk Civil 3D data
- Create pipe networks and structures
Prerequisites: Before starting this course, you should have a working knowledge of AutoCAD and Land Desktop.

Cancellations made prior to the registration deadline will be fully refunded or applied to another Greenleaf3D training. Cancellations past the registration deadline and up to three (3) business days prior to the class are subject to 50% of the training cost. Cancellations made less than three (3) business days prior to the class, forfeits 100% of the enrollment cost. A paid enrollment is fully transferable to another employee of your company for the scheduled class. Greenleaf3D reserves the right to cancel and/or reschedule classes that do not reach a minimum enrollment.
